It's a compact version of the tube-driven HT-Metal, and was designed specifically for extremely high-gain sounds, but can also deliver the best cleans and crunches!
Blackstar LT-Metal: tons of sounds
The Blackstar LT-Metal is equipped with gain, level, ISF and tone controls. With the unique ISF (Infinite Shape Feature), you can transform your guitar's sound from a Marshall to a Mesa Boogie with the turn of a knob!
Rugged pedal
Like all other Blackstar pedals, the LT-Metal is built to last. It has an aluminium housing and knurled metal knobs. This pedal also features a clipping circuit so the simulated sound, response, and compression come as close to a tube-driven pedal as possible. Its compact housing makes this pedal ideal for your pedal board, and you can choose between a 9V battery or an adapter to power it.

Bonne petite pédale de distortion, typée hard-rock/métal (classique). Ne conviendra pas pour des styles plus extrêmes (death/thrash, etc...), à moins de l'utiliser sur le canal crunch d'un ampli.
Les points positifs:
- Boitier robuste (le boitier en métal est relativement lourd).
- Réglage ISF efficace pour colorer le timbre de la distortion.
- Réglage de tone efficace sur l'ensemble de la course. Couplé avec le réglage ISF, il permet d'obtenir à peu près tout ce que l'on souhaite en termes de type de distortion (rock / hard-rock / métal classique).
- Bon rapport qualité/prix.
Le point négatif (quoique..):
- Le réglage du niveau de sortie (level) doit être poussé afin d'avoir un niveau de sortie satisfaisant. Cependant, cela peut-être utile pour éviter d'avoir un déséquilibre de niveau avec le son clair d'un ampli.
Ik heb afgelopen zaterdag deze besteld, en ik ben er zeer tevreden mee. Hij werkt goed en hij werkt zelfs op batterij 9V kortom een echte aanrader als je met distortion wilt spelen.
Zeer tevreden over deze pedal. Mooi geluid voor de prijs.
Dit pedaal is ideaal om mijn Blackstar Soloist 60 combo net dat extra beetje gain en low end te geven. Maar als je de gain terug draait kun je er ook een hele goeie crunch toon uithalen. Uiteraard zowel op z'n Brits als op z'n Amerikaans met de door Blackstar gepatenteerde ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) regelaar.
ik heb deze distortion pedal nu al enkele maanden en ben er zeer tevreden mee hij kan van klassieke rock tot heavy metal hij voldoet aan de beschrijvingen en is zeer robuust dus het kan wel tegen een stootje zeker een aanrader !

One of the better metal heavy distortion pedals I've played! Solid construction and can put out a really nice saturated wall of distortion. Almost any guitar can djent with the right amp combo with this pedal and I mainly use the Yamaha THR10X as my bedroom practice amp. The ISF knob is what I like most about this pedal, it mixes the eq and can give a really wide range of sounds, from a tight to an open, American to British sound. making it very versatile. This combined with the tone knob left me tweaking with it for ages seeing what different kinds of tone I could dial in. I highly recommend this distortion pedal as its great for the price too. Very happy with the purchase :)
